The GMC Sierra 1500 for 2025 offers buyers a choice of four different engines, two transmissions and rear- or four-wheel drive. The standard configuration is a 2.7-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder that delivers 310 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. If you'd rather go with a V8, you can move up to a 5.3-liter engine with 355 horsepower or a 6.2-liter unit with 420 horsepower. The six-cylinder diesel powertrain is good for 460 pound-feet of torque. Maximum towing capacity is 13,200 pounds and a Denali Ultimate with the 6.2-liter V8 engine can hit 60 mph in 5.4 seconds.
Interior Highlights
Inside the cabin, the 2025 GMC Sierra is focused on the driver with controls that are easy to reach. Starting on the SLE model, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is standard and on higher trims you can get a head-up display and a power-adjustable steering column.
